Visa for the Dominican Republic
This section provides information and guidance on entry requirements for the Dominican Republic. More detailed information is available on the FAQ page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, which offers essential guidance for travelers. In case of doubt, you should always consult the official Government website for updated information on documentation and visa requirements. There, you will find the conditions you must meet to enter the Dominican Republic and whether or not a visa is required, depending on your country of origin: https://servicios360.mirex.gob.do/condiciones-para-extranjeros-ingresar/ To apply for a visa, you must contact the Embassy or Consulate closest to your place of residence or the one designated for your jurisdiction. In general, most visitors to the Dominican Republic do not need a visa, particularly those who hold a visa or residency in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, or Schengen countries. In addition, the cost of the tourist card is already included in the airfare, and a valid passport is required for the duration of your stay.E-Ticket for the Dominican Republic
Regardless of whether or not you need a visa, please note that, as of April 1, 2021, visitors entering or leaving the Dominican Republic must complete and submit a digital entry and exit form that includes the traveler’s Customs Declaration, as well as the embarkation and disembarkation forms. Visitors must complete one form up to 72 hours before arrival and another before departure. The system will generate the corresponding QR codes for each form. Travelers may print or take a screenshot of these QR codes and keep them ready to be scanned by local customs authorities. The same alphanumeric code generated by the E-Ticket upon entry into the Dominican Republic must also be used to complete the exit form (as the same code is used to register both entry and exit). See https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/Invitation Letter
If you need a formal invitation letter for visa purposes to attend CAMSAP, you can request it during the registration process. Please ensure that you check the box and provide the requested passport information. Once completed, we will send you a signed letter in both English and Spanish to include with your visa application.Additional Travel Information and FAQs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
